Take El Norte Parkway East off of the 15 Freeway at Escondido. Go 3 1/2 miles on El Norte. We are located between the cross streets of Citrus and Washington. Go to Washington to make a U-turn and turn in our driveway just past Sungold. We are 20 miles East inland of Oceanside and 20 miles North of downtown San Diego. Please note: Map quest and google maps have not updated the area we are located in and may result in sending you to the wrong area. It is best to follow these written instructions, and call first.
My husband thought that I was a little crazy for going with something different and having two different hard surfaces (we have both granite and soapstone). Now he really likes it and thinks that it was a good choice. We love our soapstone sink. It is easy maintenance and was built exactly how we wanted it. The office staff was great, they always called back, and they were easy to talk to. The installation was on time and they were careful about my flooring. Soapstone clean-up is easy-I just wipe it with a sponge. I do not have to worry about streaking or a residue as I do with my granite. A friend has black granite and it gives the same look as soapstone, but the granite is not as durable. She likes the look of her granite but would not put it in again.
