Simply put; we love our soapstone counters. The common complaint about soapstone we has heard was how easily it scratches, we have not found that to be a problem. We oil it once a week. Every time i walk into my kitchen and see the soapstone, I fall in love all over again. It is extraordinarily beautiful, especially because of the veining. Everyone comments on it.
