Soapstone Care

How Do I Take Care of My Soapstone?

Soapstone  builds a dark patina over time naturally with use. To bring the dark patina up quickly and evenly, apply basic mineral oil or Soapstone wax sealer to your countertops. After applying the wax or oil. Wipe the oil/wax off the surface with a clean rag.

Apply mineral oil two-three times a week for a month or a month in a half. After the initial oiling process you may oil or wax every 5 to 6 months. You cannot hurt the stone by over oiling or under oiling. The wax sealer can be purchased through us. Please call or email for more info!

How do you clean Soapstone countertops?

You can use any household cleaner on your soapstone counters. Vinegar, water, fantastic, or 409 will work fine. We also supply DoTerra OnGuard cleaner. This is a natural and safe way to clean any surface!

Your soapstone will not harbor mold, mildew, or bacteria. No need for harsh chemicals

Here's What Our Clients Have To Say

We searched the internet and found your site. You returned our call and my husband drove to Esconido from Orange County and you made the process so easy for us! From helping us pick the piece, to suggestions, to the actual installation-it was just a breeze. You gave us samples and answered all of our questions. We like the look and maintenance-just what we wanted. Thanks!
