A Timeless Classic

The Timeless Soapstone. Soapstone has been a favorite for centuries. Because of Soapstone’s unique properties it has been used for counter tops longer than any other stone. It is easy to care for, and clean up after. This stone is a sturdy surface that is almost impossible to hurt. Soapstone has a beautiful matte black or matte green coloration, with stunning marble veins or no veins at all. This natural stone is very dense. It is a non-porous stone that is naturally sealed. Naturally anti-bacterial, as it will not absorb moisture. It is also mold and mildew resistant. Soapstone is chemically inert, making cleaning a snap. Impervious to staining, wine, vinegar, and lemon juice will not harm this stone. Soapstone can take heat temperatures anywhere from 2000 to 3000 degrees of heat, so it will never be a worry to place anything hot straight from the oven on to the counters.

Here's What Our Clients Have To Say

My husband thought that I was a little crazy for going with something different and having two different hard surfaces (we have both granite and soapstone). Now he really likes it and thinks that it was a good choice. We love our soapstone sink. It is easy maintenance and was built exactly how we wanted it. The office staff was great, they always called back, and they were easy to talk to. The installation was on time and they were careful about my flooring. Soapstone clean-up is easy-I just wipe it with a sponge. I do not have to worry about streaking or a residue as I do with my granite. A friend has black granite and it gives the same look as soapstone, but the granite is not as durable. She likes the look of her granite but would not put it in again.
